Packing
You have a lot of options to choose from when it comes to packing. You can pack your items yourself, or have North American Van Lines; professional movers help you out. Or, you could create a customized plan where you start the process and we help you with the fragile items. Here are some choices:
- Full Service Packing: We'll handle the entire packing process, no matter how big or small the items.
- Fragile Only Packing: We're highly experienced when it comes to packing techniques, so you can trust your fragile items in our hands. We can create a custom packing plan based on these items.
- Self Pack: Want to handle the packing of your items by yourself? Feel free to do so. We can still provide packing tips for you and arrange for all of the packing materials and moving supplies you need.
Packing Materials
You possessions come in many different unique shapes and weights. That's why at North American Van Lines we have a wide array of specialty moving supplies and materials in which to pack them.
- Standard moving boxes from 2 to 6 cubic feet.
- Wardrobe boxes.
- Mirror boxes: Extra protection for moving mirrors, pictures and glass tabletops.
- Mattress bags in all sizes
- China Barrels: Sturdy packaging for moving your china and dishware.
- Stretch wrap for furniture, to protect it from snags, tears and dirt.
Loading and Unloading
Moving your items from your previous home into your new residence can be complicated. Luckily, we are prepared for it.
- Disassembly/Assembly: Items such as beds, swing sets and entertainment centers can be taken apart moved and then put back together at your new location.
- Residence Protection Pads: Protect your house's railings, tight corners and doors.
- Carpet Covers: Keep the high traffic areas clean during the move.
- Systematic Loading: Your moving boxes will be labeled and inventoried based on rooms and your needs upon arrival.
- Systematic Unloading: We will move your items to the rooms you want in the order you ask.
- Unpacking: Let us handle the strenuous labour.
- Debris Removal: After the move is taken care of and everything is unpacked, our movers can take away all of your empty moving supplies and moving boxes.
Storage
Not immediately moving into your new home? We can provide moving storage for you in a climate-controlled environment at a cost-effective price. Ask your Relocation Specialist about the ideal moving storage option for you.
Installation & Assembly Services
We can arrange to have your appliances set up, pool tables to be assembled or additional cleaning services. Your Relocation Specialists can outline these moving services further.
